Use this workflow to allow employees to clock in and out using a standard web browser on a dedicated hotel computer.
Before you begin...
- Requires a computer with a stable internet connection.
- Optional: Configure Webclock IP Security to restrict punches to specific hotel networks.
The Steps
- Open a browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge) and navigate to http://webclock.hoteleffectiveness.com/
- Bookmark this URL for easy employee access.
- Employee enters their Username and Password on the login screen.

- Click Webclock.

Click the green Clock In button or the red Clock Out button.
- Optional: If prompted, enter a Position Code and click Finish Punch.
The Result
Success: The screen displays Clocked In [Timestamp] and returns to the login screen for the next employee.


Troubleshooting
If this fails...
- Access Denied: If the screen says "Access Denied," your hotel likely has IP Security enabled. Verify the computer's public IP (via whatismyip.com) is added to Settings > Time & Attendance > Webclock IP Security.
- Invalid Login: Ensure the employee is using their specific Webclock credentials found in Employee Manager.
