Clean Sync Mapping
Once the Clean Sync integration is setup completely by the Actabl Team, data will begin to flow into Hotel Effectiveness from Alice at the end of each day for the integrated Hotel.
The Actabl Team has completed the initial mapping of your clean types. To ensure that Clean Sync works correctly, your hotel administrators are encouraged to review the mapping and make any adjustments as needed.
Pro Tip
Mapping must be reviewed any time a new employee is activated and/or when a hotel changes the clean types.

How To Map or Update Clean Sync Mapping
- In Hotel Effectiveness, navigate to your Housekeeping Tools, and find the Clean Sync Mapping sub-menu.
- This page only appears if the hotel is subscribed to Clean Sync services, and the user has permissions for "Can Access Housekeeping Gameday."
- If users have permissions for "Can Edit Hotel Settings", they can update the Clean Type mapping AND the Employee mapping.
- If the user does not have the ability to edit settings, but they have "Can Access Housekeeping Gameday", they can update Employee mapping but can only view Clean Type mapping. They will get this alert banner at the top and the edit/delete options next to the clean types are gone
- On the Standards/Business Drivers card, select Housekeeping Clean Sync Mapping.
- All Clean Types synced from ALICE appear in the Clean Type Mapping section.
- Select Edit on each row to map the ALICE Clean Type to the appropriate Hotel Effectiveness Clean Type or select Delete to remove the ALICE Clean Type and Hotel Effectiveness Clean Type mapping if they are any incorrect mappings.
- New mappings will apply to future dates starting the night that the mapping is completed.

FAQs
I do not see the Housekeeping Clean Sync Mapping Screen.
A: If your Hotel does not have this service active, users will not be able to view this screen. Please reach out to your system admin for further assistance.
I do not see any data loaded in my Clean Type Mapping and/or my Employee Mapping tables.
A: This could be caused if the Hotel has not completed the input of Cleans into the Alice app or the nightly sync has not run for the prior day's cleans. Please ensure all cleans are entered into Alice and the nightly sync processes. If data still does not appear, please contact the Actabl Support team.
My Room Attendants are not flowing over from Alice to Hotel Effectiveness.
A: Room Attendants will only appear in Hotel Effectiveness to be mapped after they have been assigned rooms in Alice and that day has synced.
What employees should flow over from Alice?
A: Employees that have active boards in Alice should flow over. This is not restricted to Room Attendants. However, please note that only employees mapped to Room Attendants in Hotel Effectiveness will display their cleans comparison in Hotel Effectiveness reporting.
Why are there Housekeeping employees in Hotel Effectiveness that are not showing as mappable employees from Alice? A: This usually happens for one of two reasons:
- Manual Addition: The individual was manually added to Hotel Effectiveness first, and there is not yet active data tied to their Alice profile to flow over.
- Inactive Status: The employee profile could be "old" or inactive in Alice due to Leave of Absence (LOA), vacations, or termination processing.
