Use this workflow to create a custom Furlough option in your system settings and assign specific furlough start and end dates to an employee's profile.
Prerequisites
Before you begin:
- You must be logged into Hotel Effectiveness with the appropriate administrative or managerial permissions to edit system settings and employee profiles.
The Steps:
Create the Furlough Fields
- Hover over your Username and click Settings.
- Click Employee Additional Information Setup in the Employees section.
- Choose your location from the drop-down menu.
- Click Add New Field.
- Choose Furlough Start Date from the drop-down menu and fill in the required information.
- Click Save.
- Click Add New Field again to repeat the process for the end date.
- Choose Furlough End Date from the drop-down menu and fill in the required information.
Click Save.
Assign Furlough Dates to an Employee
- Navigate to the Employee Module > Employee Manager > Employee Explorer.
- Locate Employee from the list and click View/Edit under the Actions Column.
- Select Edit under the Additional Information Section.
- Enter the required dates into the newly created Furlough Start Date and Furlough End Date fields.
Click Save Employee.
The Result:
- Success: The employee's profile will now successfully display their scheduled furlough start and end dates within the Additional Information section.
