Use these workflows to customize Absence Monitor settings, including adjusting the late reporting threshold and adding or editing attendance issue categories.
Prerequisites
Before you begin:
- You must have Account Administrator or Hotel Administrator permissions (access to Edit Hotel Settings).
System Requirements:
- To automatically flag Possible Late Employees, your hotel must use Hotel Labor Scheduler to publish employee schedules, and your timekeeping provider must send in/out punch timestamps to Hotel Effectiveness.
The Steps:
Update the Schedule Compliance (Late) Threshold
- Hover over your Username on the upper right in Hotel Effectiveness.
- Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Select Schedule Settings under the Scheduler/MyHotelTeam header.
- Select your hotel from the drop-down menu.
- Enter the desired number of minutes in the Schedule Compliance Threshold section.
- Click Save.
Add a New Attendance Issue Category
- Hover over your Username on the upper right in Hotel Effectiveness.
- Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Select Absence Monitor Settings under the Employee Manager header.
- Select your hotel from the drop-down menu.
- Click Add New category.
- Input the Category Name.
- Click Save.
Deactivate or Reactivate Categories
- Navigate to the Absence Monitor Settings page.
- Click the blue links to deactivate an existing category.
- Check the box next to Show Inactive and click the blue link to reactivate a category.
The Result:
Success:
- Your customized schedule compliance threshold and absence categories are now saved and active in Absence Monitor.
Troubleshooting:
- Note: Deactivating a category will not impact items previously saved in Absence Monitor
