Use this workflow to enter your hotel's daily operational data (rooms sold, revenue, housekeeping cleans) so the system can calculate accurate Labor Plan hours.
Before you begin...
- Requires "Night Audit Entry" permissions.
- Requires the "Night Auditor System User" credentials (shared login) or an individual manager login.
- You must have the closing reports from your Property Management System (PMS) ready.
1. Access Night Audit Entry
- Log in to Hotel Effectiveness using the auditor username and password.
- Select Night Audit Entry from the home screen or left navigation menu.
- Click Enter New Data.
- Confirm the Date (defaults to yesterday) and click Next Step.
2. Enter Revenue Data
- Enter the Rooms Sold and Rooms Revenue from your PMS report.
- (Optional) Verify the calculated Occupancy % and ADR match your report.
- Click Save and Go To Next Step.
3. Enter Housekeeping Cleans
- Enter the total rooms cleaned by each Room Attendant in the appropriate column (e.g., Stayover, Checkout).
- Note: If you cannot find a specific employee, enter their cleans in the row labeled "Enter Total Cleans for Missing Employees (99999)".
- Click Save and Go To Next Step.
4. Enter Additional Data
- Enter values for any custom Business Drivers configured for your hotel (e.g., F&B Covers, Banquet Revenue).
- Click Save and Exit.
The Result Success: A confirmation message appears. The system recalculates Labor Plan hours immediately, updating the Daily Labor Check-In and Morning Email Alerts.
If this fails...
• Note: If you need to correct a mistake after saving, return to the Night Audit Entry home screen and select Edit Existing Data.
