Use this workflow every morning to review yesterday's labor performance, identify variance issues, and add notes for corporate review.
Before you begin...
• Requires "Night Audit Entry" to be completed for the previous day.
• Requires "Can Access Daily Labor Check-In" permissions.
1. Access the 5-Minute Daily Labor Check-In
- Select 5-Minute Daily Labor Check-In from the left navigation menu (or the mobile app menu).
- Confirm the Date selected is yesterday.
- Click Start 5-Minute Daily Labor Check-In
2. Review Summary (Step 1)
- Review the Win/Loss status for the day and Week-to-Date (WTD).
- Check the Details section to ensure Night Audit, Housekeeping, and Time Clock data are all current.
- Click Next Step.
3. Analyze Department Issues (Step 2)
- Review departments marked as a "Loss" (red).
- Click on a department name to drill down into specific Positions and Employees to see who worked more hours than planned.
- Click Next Step.
4. Review Housekeeping and Overtime (Steps 3 & 4)
- Step 3: Compare actual Room Attendant hours against target hours based on rooms cleaned.
- Step 4: Review the Overtime Risk report to see employees approaching 40 hours for the current week.
- Click Next Step.
5. Finish and Add Notes (Step 5)
- Enter a Manager Note to explain any variances (e.g., "Training new hire," "Elevator broken").
- Click Finish.
The Result Success: The Check-In is marked as complete. Your notes are saved and visible on the "View All Notes" report for regional/corporate managers.
If this fails...
• Note: If the Data Quality section shows red "Missing" flags, you must complete Night Audit Entry or fix Time Clock connectivity issues before the numbers will be accurate.
