Hotel Details & Benchmark Segment Settings

This section defines the core configuration fields for a hotel profile, including benchmark comparisons.

The Context

These settings are found under Settings > Hotel Information > Hotel Details. They control how the hotel is identified in reports and which industry data set it is compared against.

The Data

Field Name	Definition	Required?
Hotel Name	The full legal or operational name of the property.	Yes
Hotel Short Name	An abbreviated name used for email alerts and mobile views (e.g., "ATL Airport").	Yes
Rooms Count	The total number of physical rooms at the property. Used for "Per Occupied Room" calculations.	Yes
Benchmark Segment	The industry category used for comparison in Labor Benchmarker reports (e.g., "Select Service," "Full Service," or specific Brand). *Please reach out to Support to request a Benchmark Segment change.	Yes
Hotel ID	A unique 6-digit system identifier (cannot be changed).	System Generated

Limits

• Benchmark Segment: Changing this will update historical benchmark comparisons for reports run after the change. It does not rewrite historical reports already exported.
• Rooms Count: Must match your Property Management System (PMS) inventory for accurate productivity calculations.
