Use this workflow to define specific cleaning tasks (e.g., "Stayover," "Deep Clean") so you can assign specific minutes-per-room targets in your Labor Plan.
Before you begin...
• Requires "Edit Settings" permissions.
• Most hotels set up at least "Stayover" and "Checkout."
1. Access Clean Type Setup
- Hover over the Username Menu and select Settings.
- Under "Standards/Business Drivers," select Housekeeping Clean Type Setup.
2. Add a New Clean Type
- Click the blue + Add New Clean Type link.
- Select Add a Custom Clean Type.
- Enter the Clean Type Name (e.g., "Suite Checkout").
- (Optional) Assign a Category for reporting purposes.
- Save
The Result Success: The new clean type appears in the list. You can now use this clean type when building Labor Standards or entering Night Audit data.
If this fails...
• Note: If you do not see the new clean type in your reports immediately, allow up to 1 hour for the system to refresh.
