Follow these steps to pull your ProfitSword budget into the Hotel Effectiveness platform.

1. Administrative Setup

1. ProfitSword: Ensure hotel SOPs require budgeted revenue data to be entered by month in ProfitSword.
2. Hotel Effectiveness: Verify that RevSync Actuals and Forecast are fully integrated and that all Business Drivers are mapped.

2. The Import Workflow

1. Navigate to the Simple Labor Budget Builder in Hotel Effectiveness.
2. Select Create New Budget and proceed to Step 1.
3. Click the Save & Import from ProfitSword button.
4. The page will refresh with a report view showing the imported budget numbers from ProfitSword, organized by the Business Drivers mapped in your settings.

Q: Which budget dataset is pulled from ProfitSword? A: The integration pulls the Primary Budget (FCID 2). This is currently the only supported dataset.

Q: Will this overwrite my existing budget entries in Hotel Effectiveness? A: The Simple Labor Budget Builder uses versions. If you import into a new budget version, it will populate the blank fields. However, if you import into an existing version that already contains data, the ProfitSword values will overwrite those existing entries.

Q: What if data is not appearing after I click the import button? A: First, verify that budget data exists in ProfitSword for that period. If data exists in ProfitSword but fails to appear in Hotel Effectiveness, ensure your Business Drivers are correctly mapped.
