Use this workflow to resolve "Unmapped" errors and ensure data successfully transfers when using the Labor Plan Copy feature between Hotel Effectiveness and ProfitSword.
Before you begin...
- The hotel location must have an active RevSync link with ProfitSword.
- A Labor Import (Scheduled or Actuals) from Hotel Effectiveness to ProfitSword must be in place.
- Hotel Effectiveness work position codes (6-digit codes) must feed into ProfitSword and be assigned a GL Account on the Map Labor page.
- The assigned GL Account must contain data by month.
- For Variable Labor Plans: The driver metric in ProfitSword requires a ratio, a Driver Mode (# for stat, or $ for amt), and the revenue code (driver tag) mapped to a business driver in Hotel Effectiveness via the Business Driver Setup page, located under Username Menu > Settings.
- For Fixed Labor Plans: Driver metrics not based on revenue (like Auto FTE) are built as a Fixed plan by referencing the stat value in ProfitSword divided by the number of days in the month.
The Steps:
Resolving "Unmapped" Business Drivers:
- Check the Hotel Effectiveness Labor Plan Copy page to identify the unmapped Driver tag (revenue sync code).
- Ensure the Driver tag is added to the data portal within ProfitSword. Note: If it is missing, a PS Admin must add it to the data portal to receive the code.
- Map the driver tag to the correct business driver within Hotel Effectiveness.
Resolving "Unmapped" Positions:
- Identify the GL Account name assigned to the unmapped position within the Labor Plan Copy page.
- Open ProfitSword, navigate to the Accounting Menu select Map Labor page, and search for that specific GL Account.
- Review the mapped Hotel Effectiveness work positions to verify if they are active.
- Change the mapping for any inactive work positions to the N/A GL account.
The Result:
- Success: Once the driver tags are correctly mapped and inactive positions are reassigned to N/A, the error codes will fall off the unmapped sections, and the labor plan will successfully build for the assigned work positions.
