How to Configure RevSync for OnQ

Night Audit Entry is essential to your success with Hotel Effectiveness. It’s where your hotel’s operational details—such as rooms sold, revenue, housekeeping cleans, and other revenue items—are recorded and stored.
 

There are two ways our system can get this information: manual Night Audit Entry (by your auditor or other managers) or RevSync via your property management system. RevSync enables OnQ to automatically send operational data overnight. Automating Night Audit Entry ensures your operational data is always up-to-date. Housekeeping Cleans do not feed from OnQ and will still need to be entered.
 

To set up RevSync with OnQ, we'll need a few items to get started.

Item One: Configure Revenue Report

You'll need to access OnQ to configure the revenue report to be emailed to us. The report is called Operation Audit - Revenue Extract. The report should be sent to [e-mail] and the subject will be: Operation Audit - Revenue Extract - (Date mm/dd). The date will default to what day the revenue abstract is sending for.
 

Log in to OnQ Insider (which is now "The Lobby") and configure the report:

1. Navigate to the OnQ Operations Audit application.
2. Once clicked, this should take you to the Hilton User Login screen – enter your login information.
3. Once signed in, from the operations audit home screen select ‘Revenue Extract’.
4. Be sure to enter in the email address as [e-mail].
5. Set the format to CSV.
6. Set the delivery method to EMAIL.
7. Set the send time accordingly so it can be automatically delivered to our email before 6am local time.

Once we begin receiving data, there will be some configuration time on our end before the data can flow into Night Audit Entry.

Item Two: Provide your Hilton Facility ID

This is your 3-5 digit Hilton ID. You can find this ID in your new report schedule in the second column, highlighted by the red arrow:

Note: Hotel Effectiveness takes the most recent update, whether it's from the file or a manual edit. If a manager edits Night Audit Entry after the file is processed, Night Audit Entry will save the manager edits. If OnQ sends us another email with details for the same date, Night Audit Entry will overwrite whatever is present for that day (including manual edits).
